The Engineering programs train skilled, versatile, professional and ethical graduates for the national and international workplace. This enables them to practice as professional engineers upon graduation and meeting requirements for registration by the professional board. Graduates can work as District Engineers, Consultants; Project Engineers, Lecturers, Project Managers, Researchers, among others.
 
The Environment programs are aimed at equipping graduates with the knowledge, skills, and scientific basis to develop and/or maintain appropriate and sustainable technical solutions to environmental problems such as: pollution mitigation, climate change adaptation, waste management and remediation. Graduates can work as District Environment Officers, Environmental Analysts, EIA Experts, Environment Inspectors, Lecturers, NGO Project Managers, Environmental Consultants, Researchers, among others.

Admission requirements
Undergraduate Programs: BSCEE, BES, BSCPM The undergraduate programs are full-time day    programs and applications can be made year-round for the next intake.  Entryrequirements;
1. Ugandan applicants
(a) UACE certificate with at least 2 principal passes in the required subjects at the same sitting.
(b) Diploma from a recognized institution of higher learning in a relevant field.
(c) A Pass in the Mature Age Examination.
2. International applicants
Applicants must have qualifications that are recognized for University entry in their respective countries for an equivalent Bachelor of Science degree program.
