The Faculty of Science and Technology is a large, dynamic and successful faculty, employing 300 academic staff across four academic schools, supported by 85 professional support staff, and 105 technical staff. We teach a diverse and successful portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. In total, we currently teach 5100 undergraduates, 420 masters level students and have 300 students registered for a higher research degree (MPhil / Phd).
 
The Faculty of Science and Technology is among the largest faculties in the University, with over 1,500 undergraduate students currently registered both full-time and part-time. Programmes offered by the faculty cover a wide range of fields, including Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geography and Geology, Mathematics, and Physics.
